Presented in conjunction with the MUNY Memories exhibit, this program explores the impact of Tin Pan Alley on the trajectory of both popular and classical music in the 20th century with the music of Gershwin, Berlin, Joplin, Copland, Ravel, Milhaud and more. Artistic Director Sara Sitzer narrates this fascinating and fun history alongside performances by the world-class Gesher artists.
